Parents as Partners is designed for foster and adoptive parents like you, those committed to supporting their children’s healing and growth while navigating the added complexities that trauma and disrupted attachment can bring. These community-based workshops are offered as virtual events, creating accessible, supportive spaces for learning and connection.
While children’s behaviors can shift through counseling, true and lasting change begins with caregivers. Our philosophy is simple and empowering: for a child to change, the perspective of the caregiver must change first. Too often, the burden of change is placed on children, who have the least knowledge, experience, and authority. Parents as Partners intentionally flips this dynamic, empowering foster and adoptive parents to lead the healing process with insight and confidence.
