Many Thorns Yet Still Roses by Jessie Gallaher was a great book of another mom’s adoptive story. Made me feel like I wasn’t alone for one of the first times.
Chosen.care is an organization that does parent coaching and teaches you TBRI (trust based relational intervention). Wish we had done it right away when we started with the challenges. It’s online weekly sessions. They do a sliding fee scale.
We did EEG Neurofeedback with Rhonda Souder in Bloomington. Definitely made a difference. Helped take three hour fits to more easily able to get on board with doing the things she thought were difficult without the long fights. Unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover and is a few thousand dollars but in my opinion well with it.
